Question?

So I have put a new background onto my blog and as you can see it is not fitting the border is getting cut off. Since my computer skills are very poor I need a little help can anyone tell me how to adjust the background to fit? Sorry I am so lame.
Thank you!

Snowy Sunday

On Sunday Calogero, Shane, Ashlee, and I went up to Shane's wonderful Mother Judi's cabin. It started out as a warm day and turned into a beautifully snow one up in Lambs Canyon. We went up there for a Fiesta and the food was sooo good! Judi made these homemade southwest egg rolls and chili verde that I am dreaming about.

We usually always sled when we head up there but the poor sled only had 4 good runs left in her and then she "cracked" under the pressure.
It is always a treat to go up there thank you Brown Family (aka Shane and Ash) for inviting us.

2008 In A Nutshell

I have been looking through pictures from this past year and have been thinking about all of the things I was able to do in 2008. So here is 2008 in a nutshell from the beginning to the end! Get ready for a picture overload people!
Brookie got married!

Calogero and I were invited to Maui in March by Shane and Ashee for their wedding. It was beautiful and I can't wait to go back. Calogero and I tried snorkeling for the fist time thanks to some convincing by Shane and I loved it. (even Calogero who is absolutely terrified of the ocean enjoyed it)

Hiking in Maui

Shane and Ashlee's Wedding, it was so Pretty! Calogero and I are so happy for you two.

We did the Road to Hana this beautiful black sand beach was on the way to the top.

Krystal and I were able to travel to California twice this year of Royal Family Training, but don't worry we had fun too. We went shopping, to the beach, laid out, and as usual laughed all weekend! The girl is hilarious people trust me she has had me laughing since third grade.

I was able to spend a lot of time with my friends with year. Erin, Tami, Brooke, Jake, Gentri, and I went to dinner downtown this summer and shopped at the Gateway.

Don't I look like a child abductor or something? Now all I need is a windowless white van. Creepy!

We can't say no to a scoop, sorry.

This year Krystal and I were given the opportunity to start a mentoring program for Utah foster kids that works hand in hand with the camp we are involved with. It has been really fun, and a great learning and life experience.

Andrew, Matthew (my brothers), and Me at Royal Family Kids Camp. Don't I look like I just spent a non-stop week with 35 crazy but amazing kids! (or at least like I look like I need a shower) It's always a go, go, go week I love it! 2008 was my 10th year as a staff member.

I gave fly fishing a try for the first time this summer and loved it!

Andrew and Matthew started their first year with the Collide School of Ministry. I am so proud of both of them they are working so hard and really growing up. I love you both you are the greatest brothers! Also I love you a ton Mom and Dad I have loved all the time we have spent hanging out.

The Utes had one heck of a season 13-0! What a great year to be a Utes fan, wait it's always great to be a Utes fan!

We spent a ton of great times with Shane and Ashlee this year golfing, seeing movies, traveling, and just hanging out. We love you guys and can't wait to spend the next year hanging out with you.

Jennie and Buddy invited Calogero and I with all of my girlfriends and their families to their cabin. It was so fun I love spending time with those girls and I really enjoy all of their husbands and adorable children .

Calogero and I had the opportunity to sit on the second row at a Jazz game! Way fun, neither of us have had that opportunity before and we really enjoyed it.

Calogero and I went on a cruise to the Mexican Riviera! Believe it or not this our first full vacation alone together ever! Even on our honeymoon friends met up with us for half of the time. It was so fun to spend time together and do our own thing. Love you babe thanks for a great vacation!

Well farewell 2008 we had a blast! I wish everyone a Happy New Year! It is time to make new memories, do all you can for others, spend time with family and friends, and don't forget to enjoy yourself. Much Love and Thanks.

New Years Eve!

Happy 2009! Can you believe that 2009 is here I remeber being in elementary school thinking that the year 2000 was a lifetime away and that I was going to be sooo old when it came (um 24 I might as well be a senior citizen I guess) well now it's 2009 man time flies. I feel like high school was just yesterday. Does anyone else feel like they should still be 18? Anywho...
Well I hope all of you had a great New Years and that 2009 has been treating you well so far. I had an all day extravaganza with friends, very enjoyable. First Casey and I hit the gym (thank you for making my lazy butt work-out with you it needs it) then Krystal, Ashlee and I went and saw Marley and Me. It was so good we laughed, we cried (sorry Ash I had to) I totally recommend it to all! Then Calogero, Shane, Ashlee, Aaron, Amy, and I went to the Utes Basketball Game, we won of course. Then off to the Brown's for pizza and Games! We totally are getting old though because the plan started out with the game, dinner, and then we were going to go out after. So my "young" friends slowly wussed out, I wish I could say I was shocked by it but unfortunatly that was not the case (Just Kidding). We did stay up to about 4 a.m. playing games and I did laugh a ton so I can't complain I do love my friends! Happy New Year to your Family from Ours!

Christmas!

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day have already come and gone and I can't believe it's already over but I really enjoyed every minute of it! I unfortunatley had to do some last minute shopping and wrapping on Christmas Eve this year. I think we always tell ourselves we'll get it done early next year but somehow I always end up running around like a crazy person at the end. We had dinner with my family on Christmas Eve at my Mom and Dads house it was so good. My Mom makes these amazing cheese potatoes that will for sure clog your arteries with every bite, but it is so worth it. They are actually so bad for you that she refuses to make them any other time of the year, seriously. I totally forgot to take picutures at my parents house, typical me remembered at like midnight for some reason. After dinner and games with my parents, brothers, Calogero's Mom and Dad (the beauty of being an only child), aunt, uncle, grandpa, and cousins we headed over to Calogero's Uncles house to see Santa. It is such a fun tradition that his family started all of the kids get a present from Santa and they sit on his knee and tell them what they want for Christmas it is so cute. So on Christmas morning Calogero and I opened up all our gifts together at home and then headed out to open gifts with the fam! I got some great gifts thank you so much Calogero, Mom, Dad, Andrew, Matthew, Grandpa, Guiseppe, and Vita! We usually go out to Breakfast at little America every Christmas morning with all of my Dads family for as long as I can remember, but because of the crazy, but beautiful snow storm we had to reschedule for Saturday. So we spent the day laying around and going to the movies we saw Bedtime Stories, I thought it was a cute movie no deep thinking involved that's for sure. I had a great Christmas this year I just wish it hadn't come and gone so fast.

Sorry this is such a long post but hey I had a long weekend people! So on Friday I totally took advantage of the after Christmas Sales and spent some Christmas Money you've got to love a good deal! And on Saturday we went out with my Family for Lunch. I always love sitting down and having a meal with these people they make me laugh always and I truely enjoy all of their company. Thank you to everyone who made this an awesome Holiday Weekend I love you all, and one more time just for the heck of it Merry Christmas to All!

Christmas Party with the Girls

Well I had a fun filled Holiday weekend so I had to double post today folks sorry so be prepared to read double the fun. Between Christmas shopping and eating holiday treats I had the pleasure of attending two fun Christmas dinners with all of the friends I love and enjoy. I love seeing my friends and since we are all scattered around now Christmas is the perfect opportunity to get together! We had our Christmas party at Melanie's adorable house this year and almost everyone made it even Abbi with her new little girl Lily she is so beautiful. We ate dinner, had the most difficult gift exchange ever, and shared homemade cookies that everyone brought except for one lazy friend, me I totally bought mine at the store I had no time sorry. Abbi, Jennie, and I before Carly's hilarious comment, and after you are so freaking funny Carly but hey it worked.
I love these girls we can go months without seeing each other and we just pick right up like no time has passed. I am so greatful to have these ladies as my friends I love you all and can't wait to see you again soon! Merry Christmas!
