Christmas!

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day have already come and gone and I can't believe it's already over but I really enjoyed every minute of it! I unfortunatley had to do some last minute shopping and wrapping on Christmas Eve this year. I think we always tell ourselves we'll get it done early next year but somehow I always end up running around like a crazy person at the end. We had dinner with my family on Christmas Eve at my Mom and Dads house it was so good. My Mom makes these amazing cheese potatoes that will for sure clog your arteries with every bite, but it is so worth it. They are actually so bad for you that she refuses to make them any other time of the year, seriously. I totally forgot to take picutures at my parents house, typical me remembered at like midnight for some reason. After dinner and games with my parents, brothers, Calogero's Mom and Dad (the beauty of being an only child), aunt, uncle, grandpa, and cousins we headed over to Calogero's Uncles house to see Santa. It is such a fun tradition that his family started all of the kids get a present from Santa and they sit on his knee and tell them what they want for Christmas it is so cute. So on Christmas morning Calogero and I opened up all our gifts together at home and then headed out to open gifts with the fam! I got some great gifts thank you so much Calogero, Mom, Dad, Andrew, Matthew, Grandpa, Guiseppe, and Vita! We usually go out to Breakfast at little America every Christmas morning with all of my Dads family for as long as I can remember, but because of the crazy, but beautiful snow storm we had to reschedule for Saturday. So we spent the day laying around and going to the movies we saw Bedtime Stories, I thought it was a cute movie no deep thinking involved that's for sure. I had a great Christmas this year I just wish it hadn't come and gone so fast.

Sorry this is such a long post but hey I had a long weekend people! So on Friday I totally took advantage of the after Christmas Sales and spent some Christmas Money you've got to love a good deal! And on Saturday we went out with my Family for Lunch. I always love sitting down and having a meal with these people they make me laugh always and I truely enjoy all of their company. Thank you to everyone who made this an awesome Holiday Weekend I love you all, and one more time just for the heck of it Merry Christmas to All!

Christmas Party with the Girls

Well I had a fun filled Holiday weekend so I had to double post today folks sorry so be prepared to read double the fun. Between Christmas shopping and eating holiday treats I had the pleasure of attending two fun Christmas dinners with all of the friends I love and enjoy. I love seeing my friends and since we are all scattered around now Christmas is the perfect opportunity to get together! We had our Christmas party at Melanie's adorable house this year and almost everyone made it even Abbi with her new little girl Lily she is so beautiful. We ate dinner, had the most difficult gift exchange ever, and shared homemade cookies that everyone brought except for one lazy friend, me I totally bought mine at the store I had no time sorry. Abbi, Jennie, and I before Carly's hilarious comment, and after you are so freaking funny Carly but hey it worked.
I love these girls we can go months without seeing each other and we just pick right up like no time has passed. I am so greatful to have these ladies as my friends I love you all and can't wait to see you again soon! Merry Christmas!

Brown Ricotta Annual Christmas Dinner!

One of my favorite traditions every year is having dinner with our fav friends the Browns. Shane wears his traditional Christmas sweater we exchange gifts and have a ton of fun! So this year Calogero, Shane, Ashlee, and I went to Bonsai for dinner. If you haven't been there it is a Japenese Steak House and very delicious try it! We started out with saki bombs and had nothing but a good time. Forgetful me didn't take any pictures of course at the restaurant so you will just have to imagine it sorry. I hate when we leave somewhere and I realize I wanted to blog about this and what's a blog post without photos, not as good. So after a yummy dinner we went over to Shane and Ashlee's to open Christmas Presents and play some Rock Band! We ROCKED the night away and the cat stunk up the joint! Merry Christmas! Thanks for a great night Brown Family we LOVE YA! Here a few pics I actually remembered to take:

It's That Time Of Year!

Merry Christmas Everyone! Can you believe Christmas is already here? Seriously as I get older time goes faster and faster, I kind of hate it. So since the holiday season has snuck up on us so quickly I am doing all I can to get myself into the Christmas Spirit. So this past weekend my family and I enjoyed some of our favorite traditions. We went downtown the day after Thanksgiving and went to an exhibit, we try to go to something new every year. This year we went to Body World. Ok this exhibit is so interesting it took us a little over three hours to take it all in. God is one heck of a designer, our bodies are incredible and work so fluidly (that is of course till me mess it up) it is ridiculous. If you haven't had a chance to check out Body World you really should and get the headsets they are worth it. After we had a family dinner at P.F. Changs yummy. We usually all go shopping together Downtown and look at the lights but my Brothers and Calogero forgot their coats and were freezing so we headed home. On Saturday we went and picked out my parents Christmas Tree and we always decorate it together. Andrew, Matt, and I wrestle. Calogero tries to figure out the whole sibling thing he's an only child. And we all enjoy spending time with my Mom and Dad. I totally forgot to take a picture of the finished tree sorry but it's beautifull.
I love this picture of Andrew and me with Matt in the background it makes me laugh so freaking hard. I love family traditions and the Holidays are full of them. I still need a kick in the Christmas Pants though does anyone have any favorite Christmas Traditions that would help me get in the Christmas Spirit Full Gear? Well MERRY CHRISTMAS I look forward to posting more holiday fun!

Jazz Game!

On the Eve of Thanksgiving aka last Wednesday night Calogero and I had the opportunity to go the Jazz Game and sit second row! I would love to have season tickets down there, it was crazy I could yell at the Refs and Players and they could actually hear me. Before the game started we got to go down on half court and get a ball signed by Deron Williams and we were on the Jumbotron. I have always wanted to be on the jumbotron and so it was a goal accomplished but because I was on the court I wasn't able to see myself which we all know is half of the fun. Oh and just so you know Karilinko and I were standing right next to each other. Here is Calogero with one of the Referee's. Sitting in our awesome seats! We had a tons of fun! Thanks for choosing me to take with you Honey sorry Shane.

Just Cruising...

Calogero and I just got home from a much needed 7 day cruise to the Mexican Riviera. I LOVED it! If you have not been on a cruise I so totally suggest you get going my friends they are so chill and also tons of fun. I ate around the clock, worked on my killer tan, saw some great shows, and tons of other fun stuff I can't wait to tell you about. Calogero and I haven't been on a vacation with just the two of us forever so it was nice to hang out with just us. (We usually vacation with our fav friends Shane and Ashlee and we will for sure cruise with them next time. We love you two and missed ya!) So back to my trip. The ship we were on was really pretty and huge there were 2,500 passengers and 1,200 crew members on our cruise and I never felt crowded. This is a picture of midship. For the first two days we laid around, went swimming, got a tan, and a couples massage (I LOVE Massages!) such a good way to start out your vacation. Our ports were Puerto Vallarts, Mazatlan, and Cabo San Lucas. We went horse back riding in Puerto Vallarta and I swam bareback on a horse through a river it was so fun. That is me in the water with my horse, the water was crazy deep I can't believe horses swim so well. My horse Lucero (Brooke I didn't know you had family in Puerto Vallarta hehehe sorry I couldn't resist) loved the shade he would take us all over just to be under a tree for 3 seconds. Calogero's horse loved to run him into fences and nip at him, sorry you had a bum horse babe. In Mazatlan we just went shopping and to the beach it was so windy. Mazatlan is not someplace I would like to go back to. If I ever cruised there again I probably wouldn't leave the port. Next we went to Cabo I really liked it. It was so pretty and clean I will for sure be going back to Cabo. I swam with Dolphins in Cabo! I had such a fun time with Roschio (my dolphins name) I got to swim with him for about an hour petting him, doing tricks, getting kisses, and I got to hold onto his dorsel fin and take a ride around the tank! So fun. If you have the opportunity to swim with dolphins take it I had a perma grin on my face all day! I don't have any pics for the blog of my swim they wouldn't allow us to take any pictures we had to buy them for $25 a piece so I got one but it's not digital sorry. We had a great time and got in some much needed relaxation, but it is always nice to come home. And thankfully it hasn't been terribly cold here. Thanks for reading my lengthy post. I'm going to leave you with a sunset from each port. They were so beautiful. Much Love!

TAG

So Lacey tagged me forever ago, and I have been to lazy honestly to do it but after much thought I am ready to tackle the Tag! So I am supposed to share 6 of my quirks with ya'll so here we go:
1. I CAN NOT have my food touching! I know it all ends up jummbled together in my stomach anyway but that doesn't mean I have to do it on my plate. My Dad and brother Andrew almost always mix it all together and I just do not see the appeal.
2. I always save the best for last. When I am eating if there is a part of my meal or even just a french fry the I think looks better then the others I will wait and eat it last. Calogero used to think that me leaving it there for awhile meant I wasn't interested in eating it and he would pick it up and throw it in his mouth. After hearing my screeching a few times and having his hands slapped he has learned don't touch unless offered. (doesn't that make me sound like such a sweetie)
3. I can not have help cleaning my house. I will follow around this helper doing things over again and making endless suggestions. The thing that sucks about this annoying little habit is I don't want to do all the cleaning myself, but if people can't do it right (and by right I of course mean my way) then I don't want their help at all.
4. This is more hygenic then quirky but I do not share chapstick. Not interested in herpes my friends but I still love ya!
5. I do not put my mouth on water bottles and I do not allow anyone to put their mouth on my water bottle either (eventhough for some reason my Mom tries to sneak it everytime!) I am not a backwasher or anything but others are.
6. I am totally awkward on the phone. I for some reason get uncomfortable having phone conversations. I don't know if anyone has ever noticed but I kind of ramble and then try to end my call quickly sometimes in the middle of someone talking. Never does this happen at work with strangers on the other line but with friends and family. So if you have ever talked to me on the phone and thought what a weirdo or how rude don't take it personally just know I have phone difficulty sorry.

So those are a few quirks that I carry around but that's me. I am not going to tag anyone but I would love to hear about some of your quirks!

Jason Mraz!

Calogero and I went to Jason Mraz on Tuesday night and we had a blast! I LOVE Mraz! and was totally excited to hear him live. I rock it on the i-pod always but have never been to his show. Ok he was sooo good live and way entertaining I suggest that when he returns to Utah you see him because I know I will for sure be there! Calog and I trying to get Mraz in the background but no luck. Can you tell he hates these kinds of pics when we take them ourselves (it's because I make him take them all the time! But what are you to do if you don't have your own personal photog with you at all time? Take them yourself honey sorry.) Well I had a great time! Do you think the picture portrays my JOY! Thanks babe for the B-Day gift.
